Panigiria & Local fests

Experience a Greek traditional food & culture celebration

A Panigiri is a centuries old Greek tradition. It is a festival blending together a Christian celebration and a big big party that you will always carry in your heart - and potentially your stomach. Happening mostly during the summer and mainly in the villages of Greek islands, a Panigiri is usually a celebration in honour of a saint where locals and guests sing and dance to traditional music until dawn. Of course, this is Greece, and besides the music, the celebration includes plenty of traditional food and local wine, the key elements that make a Panigiri successful.

Balancing tradition and innovation, relaxation and lifelike joy, a Panigiri is the occasion that gets the youngest and the eldest together. There you can meet the locals, make new friends, dance, drink, eat and simply have the time of your life!
