Who is Captain George?
Seasoned war corespondent by winter, skipper by summer, explorer and experience addict always, George Tsakiris couldn't allow a cruising week be simply a week in the water.
Sworn enemy of anything remotely boring, Captain George decided that we should LIVE before we die, so he traded bullets for waves and wants to take you along a joy ride around the Greek islands... with a twist.
Our Captain has more than 30 years of experience cruising around Greece, discovering dreamy coves, meeting locals and learning their secrets. From Corfu to Zakynthos and from Skiathos to Kythera, Capt. George knows his way around and will take you to all the treasures without a pirate's map.
Combining decades of cruising experience and his passion for what he calls the "true Greek life and summer", he created Captain George, an alternative travelling concept offering personalized cabin boat experience trips, so that you can enjoy the summer, exactly like our Captain does.
Together you will discover the luxury of simplicity as taught by the locals, embrace the Greek traditions and experience the life of an explorer.
Docking in dream bays, swimming in crystal clear waters and learning the secrets of locals are a promise. The wanderlust spirit of "Captain George" will guide you to discover the essence of Greece, ragged like its coastline, yet open-hearted, simple, true, beautiful.

captain - always rightThe Captain is always right, this captain even more so. Don’t bother telling him that a you are heading straight to a lighthouse. He is the captain, the lighthouse should adjust its position!
Mama Liana
Problem solver - bond girlScary creature attached to devices constantly connected to the internet. Will solve all of your problems in no time, at all hours, as she never sleeps. Code name: Liana, Mama Liana. Redbull shaken, not stirred!
Dionysis
Skipper - adrenaline junkieAlways prepared boy scout with infinite amounts of energy. He will take you to the most dreamy places and challenge you to do the most extreme of activities. Feed him regularly so he stays happy but sedate him if you need to rest!
D.D.
Pirate - runs on coffeeCaptain's daughter, raised by pirates. Loves to play with the waves and promises to throw you in the water if you overheat - or talk to her before she has had coffee. Warning: Avoid eye contact in the mornings at all costs!
Roubina
LOCAL ELFSocial butterfly of the Ionian Sea, she knows everyone. She has a pirate’s map that leads to the best wine and tapas. Follow her around, we insist!
Popi
Yiayia - secret keeperBeware: you are not leaving the table unless you are too full of food to even breathe. She will make sure you eat and then eat some more and then take something for the road. Getting covered with flour is a potential hazard!
Yiannis
Fisherman - food providerClose friend of Poseidon, lover of Calypso. Love the food provider! He will make sure we eat even if we fail at fishing!
Mitsos
Disguised OctopusOh the tragedy... Mitsos was once a mighty monster of the seven seas, a pet of Poseidon and a brother of pirates. After a surprise ambush he fled to the mountains and disguised himself as a sheep. He was last seen sporting curly white wool and producing black milk... weird!
